I've been really blessed in life to be able to play at some pretty amazing places and have some pretty amazing people to share those experiences with. This past weekend was no exception.
I was lucky enough to spend the past three days in one of my favorite places in the world- Panama City Beach. There's something so relaxing about having your toes in the sand, and did I need that or what ?
Our trip started Saturday with some much needed immediate beach time, then an amazing dinner at Dusty's Oyster Bar (the shrimp po'boy is to die for!), & finally, we stopped by Tooties for drinks and some pretty great live music (Tooties rarely disappoints in that category). Congratulations to Sommer and Chris on the upcoming wedding!
Sunday was time by the pool & another great supper at Shuckums (fish tacos, just trust me!). Then it was show time at the Salty Goat Saloon. For those who haven't had the opportunity to stop in here, this is nothing short of an awesome place. The staff & the patrons are incredible. They're a family, and they'll treat you nothing short of that. Sunday night was wonderful. I even ran into a great friend from Geneva, talk about a small world.
Monday was lazy, but our early supper was still delicious. Pineapple Willys and a pound of ribs = HEAVEN. Then back to the Salty Goat for my last show. The staff was great, and so was the crowd. I can't get over how welcoming everyone was. Also, the nachos supreme-ultimate bar food. We ended the night hanging out on beach. PERFECTION.
It was a weekend full of music and laughter. I'm so blessed to be able to do what I love and I'm forever grateful for the people who support me and share this crazy journey with me.
